New Outdoor Sign at Target Store

No matter if it’s a residential or commercial building, here at Trusted Veterans Restoration we get the job done. The exterior sign of a commercial building is very important since it’s the first thing a customer sees. It needs to be attractive, clean, visible, and easy to read. 

A storefront sign also faces the same environment as the exterior of the building. It can be damaged much easier and can get old and dingy over time.

As a business owner, you’d never want to lose any potential customers because of an unattractive sign, which might lead to a wrong impression of the interior. 

The Target store in Gainesville, Virginia faces the same issue. After completing the first job, Target decided they wanted to be proactive and pull down their Gainesville sign because it was built the same way. We measured the size of the storefront area and designed how the sign could fit nicely, be centered, and stand out. 

It was a Super Target so we needed to get the job done fast and keep the entrance safe at all times.

There was more than one entrance at this Target store, one was kept open for the customers, and the other one needed to be closed and secured when we were working on the signs. We had two lifts to work at the same time so we could move as quickly as possible.

The original signs need to be removed very carefully without damaging the exterior panels on the storefront. Our skilled team was able to move fast and keep everything secure.

Other than replacing the old signs, new signs were added, so we needed to create new structures to hold them. The exterior panels need to be removed for this part so we can work on the structure that holds the newly ordered sign. The signs are backlit which contain LED lights.

They illuminate the letters and graphics so it’s easier to read even in inclement weather and of course, it’ll pop out at night. The store is near Lee Hwy and it was important to make the sign attractive to whoever is driving by day and night.  

The sign is visible from all around the parking lot which gives clear instructions on which entrance is the closest and the best area to park. 

We were able to finish the work in 6 days despite the size difference. It’s very satisfying when a home or a business owner is happy with our work. We feel very lucky for the reputation we have in Gainesville which made the business owners trust us with these kinds of projects.
