Kitchen renovation plan

A client from Herndon, VA, called about his big kitchen renovation project. They needed a new kitchen and dining room floor plan. Also, some of the openings of the house needed to be moved to new spots. Of course, when you’re renovating your kitchen you’ll need all new cabinets, countertops, and an island.

We were very excited when we got this project since the homeowner was very open-minded about what he wanted. They wanted us to go the extra mile as long as the changes made sense and benefited those living in it. And they trusted the right team to do the rest.

Before getting our hands dirty, we completed the floor plan for the area in the house. There weren’t enough openings, and the client emphasized they wanted more natural light and air, and also being able to go in and out of their house conveniently. So we relocated one patio door and cut out another. Now the layout provides a better living experience for the owner.

With the homeowner’s approval, the project started ASAP. It was important for us that they have a well-lighted kitchen with enough windows to allow the fresh air in. However, the old layout had a sliding door where the homeowner considered it was not suitable for the new plan. We replaced the sliding door with a window and the sink right under it. This allows them to have a nice view and more light while using their kitchen. And who doesn’t like some natural light?

The owners love a clean and bright kitchen, so it was decided white is the way to go for the cabinets. With the new wooden floor, the white cabinets, and marble countertops this kitchen couldn’t look sharper! We opened up the entire kitchen and dining room area so they can all have some nice open space, perfect for a brand new island for the family to have their breakfast at.

The homeowners were very satisfied with our work and willing to refer Trusted Veterans Restoration to their community in Herndon, Virginia. We feel honored for the good reputation we worked very hard to get over the years.
